Serial Interface

The RS-232 connector on the printer side is a female, DB-9.

Output. Pin 9 is reserved for

KDU (keyboard device unit)

Note: Pin 9 is reserved for a KDU (keyboard device unit). Do not

connect this pin if you use a general host such as a PC.
